The current generation of Floor Protection® products is engineered using multi-layer manufacturing technology, combining protective films, specialised adhesives and high-performance non-woven materials into a single protection system built specifically for site conditions rather than general-purpose covering.
Our products are manufactured using composite lamination and precision coating technologies that bring several engineered materials together into one high-performance protection system. Rather than functioning as a single generic layer, each component is designed to do a specific job — impact absorption, moisture resistance, surface stability or controlled adhesion, so the finished product performs as a system rather than a simple cover sheet.
We integrate non-woven fabrics, PE films, and specialised foam composites to build floor protection solutions tailored to different construction, renovation, painting and flooring applications, from light residential touch-ups through to heavy commercial fit-outs.
Our adhesive laminate process uses water-based acrylic systems, chosen for consistent adhesion performance and clean removability across a wide range of finished surfaces. Combined with strict quality control throughout manufacturing, this ensures every roll meets the standard required by modern construction and fit-out projects, engineered materials, tested manufacturing processes, and ongoing product development, rather than a static, one-size-fits-all product.
Our temporary floor protector also underpins the breathability built into our Anti-Slippery range. Rather than treating every surface the same way, we engineer specific products to allow water vapour to escape where that matters, such as newly laid tile floor protection over curing grout, or timber flooring that's still releasing residual moisture after installation, while keeping fully sealed, waterproof options available for jobs where liquid resistance is the priority instead.
REACH Compliance Certified
Every Floor Protection® product has been independently checked and confirmed compliant with REACH, the European Chemicals Regulation (EC No 1907/2006). REACH sets a high bar for chemical safety, restricting substances of very high concern (SVHCs), including certain plasticisers, flame retardants and heavy metal compounds. Our range is confirmed free from SVHCs at or above the 0.1% threshold set out in Annex XVII of the regulation.
SGS Tested – RoHS Compliant
Our full product range has also been independently tested by SGS, a globally recognised testing and certification body. Testing confirms the range meets RoHS 2 (EU Directive 2011/65/EU) and its 2015 amendment (EU 2015/863), with restricted substances kept well within the Maximum Concentration Values (MCVs) set out in the directive.
